The current development of virtual reality is directly related to the fourth industrial revolution.
Industry 4.0 has found many solutions for Virtual Reality – including courses and training.
It can not be overestimated that even the worst scenarios can be reproduced in the virtual reality, while the participants of the training are completely safe. However, their readiness to make decisions in demanding situations increases.
As research shows, thanks to immersion – or involvement in VR experience – we absorb up to 50% more information than learning in a traditional way. Augmented Reality also allows employees to be prepared much better for servicing and repairing machines. Thanks to the fact that virtual models are superimposed on real images, they can thoroughly learn the process of replacing a damaged component or disassembling various parts.
It is not surprising then that the Chinese government officially implements VR in its schools. The project is created in cooperation with the Chinese branch of Microsoft and is to focus on developing new technologies, developing talents, creating teaching laboratories and implementing strategies such as “Internet +” and “Made in China 2025”, but most of all – applying virtual reality in education.
