The animations were created for the Public Health Protection Foundation and presented to cardiac surgeons at major industry events. The material lets doctors virtually step inside a human heart, compare its healthy function with pathology, and walk through treatment techniques step by step.
The material can be viewed directly in the YouTube player, rotating the frame with a mouse or a finger on a touchscreen, or experienced in full immersion using VR goggles. For this project, we partnered with ZENonVR, a provider of mobile VR headsets used during the presentations for cardiac surgeons.
